Elijah Jones is a Nashville-based musician and singer-songwriter who moved to the city in 2014 from Atlanta, Georgia, seeking a fresh start and personal transformation. Growing up in Atlanta, Jones developed a deep appreciation for classic soul and rock influences, including Otis Redding, Roy Orbison, and the Everly Brothers, which would shape his musical direction. In Nashville, Jones channeled these influences into original songwriting that reflected upon his life experiences, eventually forming the band Elijah Jones & the Tenderness with close collaborators including Erik Matthijs, Nic Miller, and Keanon-Keaton Payne. The band became known for their unique sound that blended classic soul and rock sensibilities with contemporary songwriting.
