Sonia Tetlow is an Atlanta-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and bassist who emerged from the Athens, Georgia music scene with her debut album SPIT in 2000.[1][2] Originally from New Orleans before relocating to Atlanta, Tetlow has established herself as a prominent figure in American rock and roots music, known for her distinctive blend of grit and musicality.[4][8] Throughout her career, she has been recognized as an activist and musician deeply committed to the craft of songwriting, performing both as a solo artist and as a member of various musical projects including the Sonia Tetlow Band and Cowboy Mouth.[5][8]
