Biography

Mortimer McPherson, born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in the rural district of Whitehall, St. Elizabeth, initially dreamed of becoming a soldier or auto engineer as a youth. Music soon became his passion, influenced by his involvement in his church choir from age 8, leading him to pursue it professionally. He released his debut EP, Message Music, in 2014 via VP Records, produced by Jay Crazie Records, which featured tracks like the title song and 'Jah Guide' and received favorable reviews, solidifying his commitment to a musical career.[1][4][5]
