Biography
Aquarius Heaven, born Brian Brewster, is an electronic music artist with deep roots in reggae, dancehall, and hip hop. Before transitioning to electronic music, Brewster established himself as a reggae dancehall and hip hop singer. His entry into the electronic music world came by chance in 2005 when he relocated to Paris and met the Parisian electronic music trio dOP. Spending extensive hours in the studio with dOP profoundly transformed his musical direction, yet his Caribbean vocal influences remained evident in his work.
The artist officially adopted the name "Aquarius Heaven" in the summer of 2010 while recording the track "Universe" with Clement of dOP, after discovering they shared the same February birthday. This marked the beginning of his electronic music career, which was formalized with the release of "Before U Go" on the Watergate 06 album, mixed by dOP. His debut EP "7 Days" on Circus Company generated significant buzz in the music world, followed by the "Can't Buy Love" EP on Wolf + Lamb, which achieved notable success through music blog coverage and a music video release. Aquarius Heaven's style is characterized by a boundary-breaking approach that blends electronic music with his reggae and hip hop heritage, creating a distinctive sound unbound by conventional genre limitations.
